My grandmother was born, raised and lived most of her life in a tiny village in the central highlands of Afghanistan. Like millions of others, we became refugees in Pakistan for many years before subsequently settling in Australia.

In this blog, I bring to you the stories of my grandmother’s and our lives as told by my grandmother.
